Trust and Safety Policy

Data confidentiality is our number one priority. We comply with the highest international standards of data protection and encryption requirements. We will never share or sell your personal data with third parties.

What data do we collect about referring clinicians?

We ask for your basic contact details, where you practice, where you operate, who your private secretary(ies) and administrators is/are, whether you are part of a chambers, and if so who your colleagues are. It also helps us if we understand which Urologists (or other clinicians) you routinely refer patients to. The more we understand about the way you practice, the better service we are able to offer you.
We will also keep the data about every scan or procedure that is booked or performed via London Uroradiology.

What data do we keep about patients?

We will keep patient demographic data (name, address, date of birth, contact details), and the type of scan that the patient undergoes, or procedure that is performed by the London Uroradiology clinician. We will not keep any scan reports or test data on any individual patient.

What will we do with the data?

When you ask us to make a scan or procedure appointment through London Uroradiology, we will share your contact details with the Facility at which the scan or procedure will be performed. We will keep any data about the scan or procedure that you send to us, but our clinician will rely upon the Radiology Information System and PACS at the facility where the scan / procedure was performed to provide them with the necessary clinical information so the London Uroradiology clinician is able to use this information to give an opinion as to the clinical status of the patient, and contribute to discussions about treatment options or the patient’s response to treatment.

How do we store and protect your data?

We will never, and under no circumstance, share or sell personal data with third parties outside of the intended use of London Uroradiology. We may use anonymised data to contribute to research projects or as inputs to analysis as to how clinical practice can be improved. We fully comply with UK and EU data protection regulation. London Uroradiology automatically encrypts your data and we ensure that all personal data is stored within the EU.
Please see our Safeguarding Policy which compliments this one.
